2012 MSC SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Measurement Science Conference (MSC) has an established fund to grant scholarships of up to $2000 to students in an Engineering, Science, or Quality Assurance degree program. The scholarship program places emphasis on experience and accomplishments related to the application and advancement of measurement science and technology. Eligible candidates must meet the following requirements: 1. Completed at least 2 years in an Engineering or Science degree program or five courses in a Masters Degree program in Quality Assurance.2. Have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or greater.3. Be a citizen of the United States.4. Be available and attend the Measurement Science Conference luncheon held on Friday, March 23, 2012 at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, CA.An MSC sub-committee evaluates all applications and provides a list of recommended finalists to the MSC Board of Directors. The Board, based on the sub-committee recommendations, evaluates and selects from the recipients list for the 2012 scholarship awards.

MSC accepts donations to the scholarship fund from companies and private entities throughout the year. The MSC Board of Directors is open to accepting full single-year or multiple-year scholarship donations in the amount of $2,000.00 or more to be distributed through the MSC scholarship award process. Full scholarship donors may have their scholarship awarded in their organizations name subject to MSC Board approval. Any company or individual interested in donating should contact the MSC Scholarship Chairperson for information. As a non-profit professional organization, scholarship donations are tax deductible under current IRS regulations.
